The 3M Electronic Solutions Division now offers halogen-free* versions of its Embedded Capacitance Material (ECM).
Ideal Industries has announced that its Lantek I and Lantek II series of cable certifiers have been approved by 3M.
3M has approved these for certifying copper Class E, Class EA, CAT6 and CAT6A 3M cabling systems, according to ISO/IEC 11801 Amendment 1 and 2, EN 50173 series and TIA/EIA-568-B-2-10 standards.

The Board of Directors of 3M (NYSE:MMM) declared a dividend on the company’s common stock of 51 cents per share for the fourth quarter of 2009, payable Dec. 12, 2009, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Nov. 20, 2009. This cash dividend is the 373rd consecutive quarterly dividend paid by 3M.
As of Sept. 30, 2009, 3M had 707,958,268 common shares outstanding and 113,146 shareholders of record.

The new 7810 series of 3M Electrically Conductive Acrylic Pads (eCAP) offers cohesive strength, shock absorption and strong adhesion that allow rework and fast assembly without curing time. The eCAP 7810 series products are effective for EMI gasket shielding applications, ESD grounding and connecting in electronic components and assemblies requiring reliable electrical contact with as little as 2.5mm x 2.5mm of contact.
