On the 22nd, LS Hongqi Cable & System (President: Seon kook Kim), the Chinese subsidiary of LS Cable & System, held a press conference in Beijing with approximately 20 reporters from news media specializing in covering the electric power industry such as China Electricity News, State Grid Corporation of China and China Electronics News. At the conference, President Kim stated, “In 2011 we will achieve 1.2 billion Yuan in sales (approx. $190 million, KRW 200 billion). In addition, we will complete a 500kV level extra high-voltage power cable production facility and a research center within the year and therefore become a leading cable maker in China.”
