Sumitomo Electric on track to meet target for FY 2012

Sumitomo Electric Industries’ president Mr Masayoshi Matsumoto said to a reporter of Japan Metal Bulletin that the firm is on track for targeted JPY 210 billion of consolidated operating profit for fiscal 2012 ending March 2013 when the firm could secure JPY 80 billion of profit for second half of fiscal 2011.

Aluminum cable output to increase by 20%
